Job Description

Job Summary:

Digital Print Operators are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the digital printer. The primary responsibility is for color accuracy and quality of the digitally printed flooring.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the print base for rigid substrates.
  • Align the print heads to each other and harmonize the print density.
  • Color match existing flooring designs.
  • Repair and replacement of print modules.
  • Perform regular quality checks.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

  • Lifting is required of tools and parts with varying weights of 1 to 100 pounds.
  • Standing is required possibly the entire shift.
  • Reaching is required for tools and parts multiple times a day.
  • Bending is required to pick up parts and tools or do work multiple times a day.
  • Must be able to distinguish color shade differences.
  • Occasionally required to climb balance and kneel.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Previous printing experience preferred
  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Must be able to stand walk bend crouch or sit for long periods work in tight spaces lift and maneuver objects of 50 pounds

Other Requirements:

  • Overtime is required on occasion.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
