Job Summary:
Digital Print Operators are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the digital printer. The primary responsibility is for color accuracy and quality of the digitally printed flooring.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the print base for rigid substrates.
- Align the print heads to each other and harmonize the print density.
- Color match existing flooring designs.
- Repair and replacement of print modules.
- Perform regular quality checks.
Performance Expectations (if applicable):
- Lifting is required of tools and parts with varying weights of 1 to 100 pounds.
- Standing is required possibly the entire shift.
- Reaching is required for tools and parts multiple times a day.
- Bending is required to pick up parts and tools or do work multiple times a day.
- Must be able to distinguish color shade differences.
- Occasionally required to climb balance and kneel.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Previous printing experience preferred
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Must be able to stand walk bend crouch or sit for long periods work in tight spaces lift and maneuver objects of 50 pounds
Other Requirements:
- Overtime is required on occasion.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
