Job Description
Personnel Source is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our clients team located in beautiful Veneta Oregon. They are a local company with 50 years in operation. Their culture is described as a low stress family/teambased environment that looks out for one another. They are a dog friendly group!
*We are seeking machinists with a minimum of 3 years experience.
JOB INFORMATION
- Training Schedule:7 AM to 3:30 PM
PostTraining Schedule:10:30 AM to 7 PM
Possible Adjustment: Shifts may later change to 1:30 PM to 10 PM
Wage:$26 $28 per hour depending on experience
JOB DUTIES
- Set up and operate a range of CNC and manual machine tools to produce parts.
- Read and configure Gcode programming.
- Use instruments like micrometers and digital calipers to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
- Interpret blueprints.
- Inspect and test completed units for defects ensuring they meet specifications with precision instruments.
- Set up adjust and operate both basic and specialized machine tools for various machining tasks.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks including standing twisting bending and frequently lifting or moving materials weighing 4070 pounds. Use of overhead cranes at each machine is also required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: At least 3 years as a machinist with strong skills in operating CNC Lathe or CNC Mill machines. You should be comfortable setting up and running these machines and have experience with Gcode setup and programming.
- Controls Knowledge: Familiarity with Fanuc or OSP controls including the ability to read and edit code.
- Tools: You should have your own tools.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Forklift Experience: Experience operating a forklift is needed.
- Drug Test: Must pass a drug test.
