Job Description
Alpha Mediais looking for a parttime Traffic Coordinator to join our team in our Lincoln Nebraskaoffice. This is a missioncritical position so we are looking for someone with broadcast traffic experience who is used to the pressures of managing highvalue inventory on tight deadlines. The ideal candidate must be a selfstarter with the ability to multitask balance priorities take direction possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an environment that is fastpaced and deadlinedriven.
Responsibilities of this position may include the following:
- Prepare/finalize daily program logs for Lincoln radio stations.
- Schedule radio commercials on assigned station logs and process commercial contracts daily.
- Supply station management with accurate inventory information.
- Work closely with station programmers toensure hourly clocks are accurate and up to date on the program logs.
- Reconcile daily Program Logs for one or more radio stations
- Prepare reports for station management as needed.
- Process and schedule commercial copy as needed.
- May work with thirdparty service programming and spot providers such as Mr. MastervCreative or one or more industry networks.
- Other duties as assigned by department management are consistent with the job title.
Requirements of this position include:
- Must be highly organized and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Possesses strong analytical problemsolving skills.
- Must be a selfstarter and be able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
- Willing and able to communicate with cooperate with and synchronize work with other Traffic teammembers.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highgrowth rapidly changing culture and environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preference may be given to candidates who meet the above requirements plus have the following:
- Experience working with a media company and/or broadcast products
- Experience working withWideOrbitand/orvCreativetraffic software.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications.
