Senior Full Stack Software EngineerWhat does a successful Senior Full Stack Software Engineer do at Fiserv
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer you will leverage your expertise to develop and support critical applications for Fiservs merchant onboarding platform.
Built to deliver innovation through simple fast integrations these platforms are used to onboard configure and enable merchants across all acquisition channels and market segments for the Fiserv Merchants Solutions business. With multiple usecase specific UI flavors as well as developerfriendly flexible communication standards APIs and integrations with dozens of internal systems of record for payment products settlement platforms and payment gateways these platforms provide a lowfriction onboarding journey for merchants to avail of Fiserv industryleading payment processing and valueadded products and services.
What you will do:
- Gather business and functional requirements
- Work with engineering teams to propose features that solve recurring patterns in customer complaints
- Design and implement scalable secure distributed fault tolerant systems that satisfy sophisticated requirements
- Support services before they go live through activities including system design consulting capacity planning and launch reviews
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and tracking availability latency and overall system health
- Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolve systems by suggesting changes that improve reliability and velocity
What you will need to have:
- 6 years of experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core for backend development
- 6 years of experience with Oracle databases including PL/SQL stored procedures and performance optimization
- 6 years of experience in Angular (preferably Angular 8 or higher) for frontend development
- 6 years of experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating them
- Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or a related field or an equivalent combination of education work or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience in React
- Familiarity with HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and responsive design principles
- Familiarity with Bootstrap jQuery and AJAX for UI development
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
