A partner hospital in Fort Myers FL is seeking a fulltime Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This AAHAaccredited practice specializes in canine feline and small ruminant care and offers a range of advanced diagnostic tools including digital radiographs and a dedicated surgery suite. With a focus on worklife balance this clinic is open Monday through Friday only and offers hourlong lunch breaks. Located near the beautiful Sanibel & Captiva Islands its an ideal place to live and work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to patients with a relationshipbased approach
- Collaborate with a skilled clinical team to deliver topnotch service and treatment
- Build strong relationships within the practice and the Fort Myers community
- Foster growth and development of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program
- Manage a diverse caseload including surgeries and appointments during open hours
- Educate clients on pet care health management and treatment plans
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Florida (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Strong clinical skills including diagnostic and surgical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships
