- Coordination of vehicle retrofits with a team consisting of 1025 UAW Salaried Bargaining Unit Mechanics and Technicians to execute a formulated plan for successful fullscale and simulated impact test operations.
- Support conducting low and highspeed vehicle impacts system tests and component tests to regulatory standards (FMVSS NHTSA EURONCAP IIHS etc.)
- Focusing all activities to achieve business metrics by implementing processes and initiatives cooperatively with the crossshift operations team
- Drive continuous improvement in safety quality delivery cost and morale during their shift.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and problemsolving techniques whenever corrective actions are necessary.
- Meet with regional and local management frequently to provide and obtain performance feedback.
- Facilitate and drive exceptional communication between departments customers and suppliers.
- Teach cultivate and promote teamwork and problem solving in a positive and proactive work environment.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years experience facilitation and/or supervising in a team environment with the ability to build effective relationships with team members and customers.
- Minimum of an associates degree.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as required (approx. 12 Saturdays per month based on test volume).
- Excellent organizational written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective business relationships with management customers and a unionized workforce.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and longterm projects simultaneously.
