Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Rome. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in FrontEnd Engineering Design (FEED) or Basic Engineering Design for Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) projects. As part of the owner engineering team you will play a key role in supervising the FEED contractor and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of FEED or Basic Engineering Design for Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) projects.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on process engineering aspects.
- Oversee process simulations and optimizations to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and approve technical documentation including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in process engineering specifically in FEED or Basic Engineering Design for HDS projects.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS PRO/II).
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Italian is essential; proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
