In this role you will make an impact on our business by creating value and supporting decision making as you manage the functional data science capability through the application of mathematical statistical predictive modelling or machinelearningtechniques toanalyzedata and generate insights. You will have the responsibility to build the data science roadmap for the business.

* This role will be 100% remote based.

How you will contribute

Manage the introduction and use of analytics to meet business requirementsensuring consistency across all user groups. Also you will establish and manage functional analytics methods techniques and capabilities to enable thefunctiontoanalyzedata generate insights create value and drive decision making while you measure the progressofinitiatives and market successes to the organization.

Assess the business problems to be solved and what internal or external data sources to use oracquire.

Identify and establish the veracity of the external sources of information that are relevant to theoperational needs of the enterprise.

Define businessoriented goals for initiative(s) and explain the initiative(s) to business managers.

Apply your expertise in analysis of data with high volumes velocities and variety (numbers symbols text sound andimage). In addition you will develop forwardlooking predictive realtime modelbased insights to create valueand drive effective decision making.

Understand the identification validation and exploitation of internal and external data setsgenerated from a diverse range of functional processes and in general you will be an expert in functional data and data sets.

Recruit talent and build teams with the right mix of skills to staff projects.

What you will bring

Working experience in a quantitative discipline and data science.

Strong quantitative background in statistics and linear algebra as well as programming knowledge.

Knowledgeable in classification techniques collaborative filtering association rules andheuristics approaches.

Understanding of advanced analytics platforms/tools such as R/SAS Python Hadoop ApacheSpark and familiarity querying databases.

Familiarity generating dashboards and manipulating data visualization software KPIs/dimensions.

Interfacing with highlevel stakeholders (SVPs and more).

Require Experience:

• 8 years of experience.

• Certifications any of SAS Base SAS VF SAS Visual Statistics etc.

• Strong Applied Knowledge of analytical techniques in statistical modelling machine learning with exposure to forecasting domain especially driverbased forecasting.

• Experience on working with FMCG Food & Beverages Retail or similar industry data with understanding the business process with be advantage.

• Should be able to articulate data science outcome into business understandable language.

• Fluent English other European languages would be an advantage.

Required Education:

• Bachelors degree required.

• Masters degree preferred in areas such as Mathematics Statistics and Business Analytics.

Travel:

• Travel up to 30%

The base salary range for this position is $137300.00$188825.00 for U.S. only; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience skills education and budget. In addition to base salary this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
