Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced and dynamic Surveying Program Manager to lead and oversee a team of more than 25 survey professionals across our Maryland and Virginia offices. This is a highimpact leadership role providing strategic direction operational oversight and technical expertise to ensure excellence in land surveying civil engineering and construction inspection. This position is available in our Hunt Valley MD office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and managerial oversight for surveying operations across multiple locations ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of survey professionals fostering professional growth and collaboration.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of land surveying projects ensuring compliance with legal regulatory and industry standards.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on survey findings for clients stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Develop and refine CADbased property surveys subdivision plans and construction layouts to support engineering and development projects.
• Ensure the successful execution of FEMA Elevation certificates boundary verifications and topographic surveys.
• Manage the preparation of project cost estimates proposals and budgets to optimize operational efficiency.
• Oversee Stormwater E&S and NPDES designs ensuring alignment with environmental standards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to address surveyrelated design issues and technical challenges.
• Interpret complex plans blueprints and legal documents to guide project execution.
• Implement innovative surveying techniques and technological advancements to enhance team productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in surveying civil engineering or a related field.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Maryland and Virginia; multistate registration preferred.
• Minimum 89 years of progressive experience in land surveying including extensive field and office work.
• At least 34 years of experience managing a survey crew or leading a surveying team.
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills to guide and support a large multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Carlson and other industryleading surveying software.
• Advanced knowledge of surveying methodologies legal principles and mathematical computations.
• Valid State Drivers License with a track record of responsible driving.

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $128871$186000.
