STV is seeking a Senior Signals Engineering Specialist to join our Systems and Security department at our New York City NY and Philadelphia PA offices.
Responsibilities:
Support design review and integration of rail and transit signal systems including interlockings train control and grade crossing systems.
Assist in the development of signal system specifications drawings and calculations for both capital and rehabilitation projects.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including track communications and civil engineers to ensure system compatibility.
Participate in field inspections and site visits to assess signal installation and integration.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and clientspecific signal design criteria.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering or related field.
5 years of experience in rail/transit signal engineering preferably within a consulting or public agency environment.
Familiarity with signal design software and CAD platforms.
Working knowledge of FRA AREMA or transit authority standards and practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.

Compensation Range:
