About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer II to support a confidential defensealigned aerospace program focused on secure satellite and ground systems. This position requires someone with deep expertise in electrical system design FPGA and embedded development and crossfunctional collaboration within dynamic fastpaced environments.Responsibilities
- Design develop and test highreliability electrical systems for secure aerospace applications.
- Lead full product development lifecycle including requirements schematics layout bringup validation and documentation.
- Support integration of electrical subsystems including hardware/software interfacing and systemlevel testing.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to optimize designs for manufacturing compliance and reliability.
- Develop documentation including specifications test plans and standard operating procedures.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 35 years of experience in electrical system design and development.
- Experience with FPGA SoC development and VHDL/Verilog.
- Strong background in Altium Designer or similar ECAD tools.
- Embedded firmware development and systemlevel debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with spacecraft electrical systems avionics and communications.
- Familiarity with SPICE MATLAB Simulink and simulation tools.
- Experience in startup or rapid development environments.
