DescriptionEssential Job Functions:
- Supervises the daily operations of the pool areas per established policies and procedures.
- Conducts preshift meetings makes daily schedule adjustments and controls shift staffing levels to meet budgeted labor costs supervises employees job performance (includes coaching and reinforcement).
- Ensures proper training supervision and development of subordinates.
- Responsible for cleanliness organization and safe condition of pool area
- Develops and maintains interdepartment relations with key supervisors to ensure the pool is clean and well maintained.
- Ensures staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Handles employees complaints or grievances
- Monitors and tracks pool calls keeping accurate records of call volume and sales generated.
- Supervises and monitors work of Team Members.
- Monitors legal compliance with federal state and gaming laws.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years Food and Beverage supervisory experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal customer service leadership communication teambuilding and problemsolving skills are required.
- Supervisory and organizational skills required.
- Must possess good customer service employee relations and leadership skills.
- Must have good analytical abilities.
- Must be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team.
- Must present a wellgroomed appearance.
Education/Skills/Experience:
- Equivalent of two (2) years college within a related field.
- Must be certified in CPR or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a highvolume multifaceted hospitality operation or hotel/country club pool
- Excellent communication skills and judgment as well as the ability to direct and manage people
Physical Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the pool including food and beverage service areas.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
- Must be able to in extreme heat for majority of the shift.
- Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
