SW Engineer (Mainframe Testing)

Visa seeks a Test Engineer to join the Clearing and Settlement (CAS) Engineering Development team based in Bangalore India. We need a highly motivated Quality Analyst who is passionate on using modern software engineering and testing principles to deliver robust applications to our global users. We test infrastructure solutions for businesscritical high visibility projects. We are looking for an expert in testing sophisticated and complicated business problems and testing applications. Experience in mainframe environment automated testing CI/CD full stack software design and development would be best fit. You will be extensively involved in handson activities including analyzing business needs and design documents development of Test Plans Test Design and Test cases design walkthroughs testing building and maintaining test tools including automated test solutions for multiple applications on a variety of technology stacks.

Primary Responsibilities:

Build test tools to improve quality and performance of CAS.
Implement test automation for Clearing application.
Setup configure and maintain test environments.
Design and develop test plans and functional test cases from business requirements and conceptual documents for CAS.
Complete test cases analyze and report test results to project team.
Collaborate with peers and other customers in Test design/plan review sessions.
Collaborate with development team to analyze debug and resolve any application issues.
Apply experience and skills to tackle testing challenges including but not limited to data management test environment and application configuration.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
6 months to 2 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Manual Testing of applications deployed in Mainframe experience is must to have.
Experience in SDLC methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall Iterative/Incremental)
Comprehensive understanding in Mainframe testing TSO MVS JCL ISPF File Aid COBOL SQL DB2
Experience in test planning test case writing and test designing.
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to work well with a team in a highperformance organization
Experience testing applications on mainframe platforms payment solutions on a modern technology stack is a plus.
Experience in Jenkins git or other source control and CI/CD technologies would be a plus.
