Job Description

Job Title: Support Worker Waking Nights
Location: Ashbourne
Salary: Up to 26150
Number of Sleeps Required: Yes rota based
Pay Per Sleep: 45
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs with Learning Disabilities
Qualifications Required: Diploma Level 4 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) desirable
Experience in Years Required: Experience is desirable but not essential
Employment Type: Permanent

The Home:

  • Number of Beds: Small group living setting

  • Location: Ashbourne

  • Type of YPs: Learning Disabilities additional needs

  • Ofsted Rating: Not specified

  • Ratio of staff to children: High staffing ratio to ensure individualised care

Who we are looking for

Were looking for patient empathetic and caring individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with learning disabilities. Youll need to be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to respond to challenging situations calmly and positively. A full UK driving licence (with business insurance) is required and flexibility to work varied shifts is essential.
