Job Description
Join the worlds leading testing inspection and certification company. SGS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support analytical testing at our Belfast laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis on samples using established test procedures ensuring results meet client and internal quality standards.
- Record and manage results in LIMS (e.g. CCLAS).
- Conduct SQC and Round Robin tests investigating and acting on any nonconformances.
- Collaborate with inspection teams to meet turnaround times and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Support continuous improvement and training initiatives within the lab.
Qualifications :
- Prior lab experience in a highstandards testing environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with LIMS systems (desirable) and standard laboratory procedures.
- Minimum GCSEs (AC) in Science Maths and English (or equivalent).
- A full driving licence is essential.
