The Opportunity:
We are looking for Versatile curious and energetic Software Engineers who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Visa Software Engineer you will be an integral part of a multifunctional development team inventing designing building and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of powerful payment technology you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.
The Work itself:
Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visas internal standards for scalability security and reusability
Collaborate multifunctionally to create design artifacts and develop bestinclass software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings
Actively contribute to product quality improvements valuable service technology and new business flows in diverse agile squads
Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including enduser merchants b2b and business to government solutions.
Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services Transaction Platforms RealTime Payments and Buy Now Pay Later Technology

Essential Functions:
Works directly with product owners to gather and refine requirements across products adding and taking into account existing tools and solutions across the organization.
Develops and designs advanced architect solutions that are robust and scalable considering integrations with other solutions across the internal technical ecosystem.
Provides domain expertise on the development of technical documentation of solutions and contributes to standard processes in technical documentation as needed.
Plays a key role in the development and delivery of new features across products from endtoend.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related
field with 914 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Java programming with a deep understanding of best practices
and advanced concepts.
Extensive experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Indepth knowledge and handson experience with Spring technologies.
Skilled in using Hazelcast Kafka Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
Capable of creating detailed flow block and logical diagrams to represent
solutions.
Comfortable delivering presentations to small and mediumsized groups.
Proven experience in designing secure resilient and scalable systems.
Experience in setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration and
Continuous Delivery pipelines.
Familiar with both MySQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Knowledgeable about network architecture load balancing and firewalls.
Highly skilled in using Java and REST to develop microservices that are easy to
deploy and maintain.
Basic to proficient knowledge of tools like Jira and Jira Align with experience
working in Agile teams.
Exemplary work ethics that contribute to a collaborative and productive work
environment.
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL database systems.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure
ideas are understood and implemented.
