Penrith City Councils City Planning Department is responsible for coordinating the long term planning for the City. In this role we deliver a range of programs and services including the development of long term land use planning strategies and policies city planning regional planning and placebased planning projects. We work with people in our communities and staff from across the organisation as well as state and federal agencies businesses and interest is an exciting future for Penrith and we want you to be part of it!
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our team as a Planner on a permanent fulltime basis (35 hours per week).
City Planning has an extensive work program including reviewing our Local Environmental Plan and Development Control Plan and responding to planning reform. This program will lead to amazing opportunities for our City as well as accepting the challenge of balancing the growth resilience and liveability of our City. You will be part of a planning team that value free exchange of ideas and knowledge collaboration quality output and raising each other up and together we are seeking to develop a best practice planning framework for the Penrith community.
We offer a hybrid working environment in this role and work together to balance our individual needs and working preferences with the needs of our colleagues our customers and Council.

Commencing Salary: $90063.00. p.a plus 11.5% Superannuation.
