CMM Inspector
Salary: 2123 per hour
Location: Wickford Essex
Hours: 37 per week; shift pattern
Early: Monday to Thursday 6am 2pm & Fridays 6am 1:30pm
Late: Monday to Thursday 1:45pm 9:45pm & Friday 1:15pm 8:45pm
Start Date: ASAP

CMM Inspector Responsibilities:
- Conduct firstoff inspections of machined components and complex assemblies ensuring full compliance with engineering drawings and CAD data.
- Perform final inspections completing AS9100compliant First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and accurately documenting product conformity.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of quality assurance procedures applying them consistently across inspection and manufacturing operations.
- Identify and document nonconforming products in accordance with both internal procedures and specific customer requirements.
- Ensure all inspection tools and gauges used as acceptance media are correctly calibrated and maintained following internal and customerdefined standards.
CMM Inspector Requirements:
- Strong understanding of machined part inspection utilising a wide range of techniques including CMM vision CMM shadow graphs and other precision measurement tools.
- Solid working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) SPC (Statistical Process Control) and a clear understanding of ISO 9001 quality requirements.
- Ideally experienced with PCDMIS and/or Zeiss Calypso software for both online and offline CMM programming and inspection.
- Handson machining environment experience is highly desirable particularly with materials such as aluminium alloys steels and titanium.
