Job Description

Showcase your service and organization strengths as Event SetUp Supervisor where your attention to detail safety and quality will help set the stage for a successful group functions in our Event space.
Starting Rate: $27.32 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $29.98.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Event Operations Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Build daily task lists motivate your team and work alongside them to ensure all event deadlines are met.
- Set up maintain and break down banquet rooms efficiently and safely following event orders as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms hallways storage and service areas; report any unsafe conditions or equipment.
- Complete office and clerical duties to assist with planning and ensure smooth daytoday operations.
- Provide consistent professional and friendly service while following all policies procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous guest service experience an asset
- Class 5 Alberta Drivers License with updated Drivers Abstract
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and carrying/pulling over 20 lbs
- Able to perform in a fastpaced highpressure environment

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
