Green Hills is actively looking for a hospitalityminded Independent Living (IL) Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our growing team! This role willassist inprovidingopportunitiesfor lifeenrichment programs to meet the physical social spiritual intellectual and creativeneeds and abilities ofour independent living residents.
YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL
- Plan creative and interactive events for Green Hills independent residents around the 8 Dimensions of Wellness which includes Ames community events overnight trips etc.
- Prepare monthly newsletter which contain IL events the Chimes newsletter and Health Care and Assisted Living highlights.
- Drive or accompanyresidentson bus trips as needed.
- Postappropriatepicturesandupdates onsocial media or send to Marketing department.
- Lead Pilates and Balance classes two times per week.
- Support and assist Life Enrichment staff.
WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU
- Are comfortable interacting with residents of varying abilities
- Have familiarity with event planning music and social/community resources
- Can obtain a Chauffers license within 30 days of hire
- Preferred Have obtained a degree or certificate in a related field
- Have knowledge of MS Excel and Publisher.
