Client Assignment at a Glance:

We are currently hiring a caregiver for an assignment in Mesa (near the 202 & Southern Ave) to assist a client who uses a mobility scooter and needs help with cooking bathing dressing and light household tasks.

The ideal candidate is attentive patient and comfortable working with someone who values consistency and independence. This role involves the full scope of nonmedical caregiving responsibilities including ADL support light housekeeping meal prep and companionship.

Caregivers who stay engaged and take initiative will be a great fit for this client.

Client Requested Schedule: TuesdayFriday 10:00 AM1:00 PM; opportunity for additional client assignments with our agency as well

General Caregiver Responsibilities (not specific to this assignment):

• Daily Living Support: Assist clients with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing grooming dressing feeding and mobility support.
• Specialized Dementia & HighAcuity Care: Provide calm consistent care for clients with memoryrelated conditions such as Alzheimers or dementia. This includes managing behavioral changes offering structured routines and engaging clients in ways that reduce confusion and anxiety.
• Companionship & Engagement: Offer companionship facilitate social interactions and provide mental stimulation to improve clients overall wellbeing.
• Housekeeping & Meal Preparation: Perform light housekeeping tasks and prepare meals to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
• Medication & Routine Assistance: Provide medication reminders support daily routines and monitor any changes in clients conditions.
• Errands & Transportation: Assist with transportation run errands and support clients in maintaining their independence and active lifestyle.
• Safety & Supervision: Ensure client safety by adhering to individualized care plans and providing personalized supervision tailored to each clients needs.

Requirements:

• Screening: Successful completion of a thorough criminal background check drug screening DMV record check and a negative TB test prior to employment. A fingerprint clearance card is highly preferred.
• Certifications: Must possess valid First Aid and CPR certifications. Completion of a formal CNA program or Caregiving Certification is highly preferred (and required before beginning client assignments). Formal dementia training and/or certification highly preferred.
• References: Provide at least two positive references from past employment that demonstrate your professionalism and commitment.
• Experience: Previous caregiving experience preferably in the home care setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Pay: Earn between $18 and $20 per hour based on experience.

• Paid Travel Time: Receive paid travel time between consecutive client assignments at Arizonas minimum wage rate.
