Job Description

Join Vancouver Clinic as a parttime Float Urgent Care RN!

**Wage: New hires generally start between $44.65$54.65 per hour and placement in the range is based on evaluation of experience. **Differentials Available: Float ($3.00/hour) Saturday/Sunday ($2.56/hour) Evening ($3.00/hour)

**PartTime Float 20 hours/week: Varied shifts/days/locations. Start times as early as 6:30a and end times as late as 11:30p and at least two weekend days per month (schedules posted about 30 days ahead).

::::OnCall Urgent Care RN Also Available oncall is not eligible for benefits and there is no guarantee of hours but do receive 5% differential for oncall position status. Flexible availability to cover staff shortage and vacations. Available shifts will include evenings and weekends. OnCall requires fulltime onsite training! ::::

Responsibilities include:

  • Using assessment skills to triage patients according to protocol

  • Work the RN inbasket for provider inbasket results patient MyChart messages RN call pool routing results referrals.

  • Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV urinary catheters ear lavage EKG sterile set up injections immunizations pointofcare testing swabbing phlebotomy.

  • Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.

  • Need strong interpersonal skills to receive and make phone calls to other departments patients and peers.

  • Critical thinking skills to use resources and follow protocols and policies and strong time management skills to prioritize workflow.

Requirements:

  • Active unencumbered Washington RN license and/or meeting the requirements of multistate licensure required (required to have active Washington RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer if using multistate licensure )

  • Active unencumbered Oregon RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider required.

  • Work independently while functioning as a team member.

  • Organize and prioritize workflow.

Pay Range:

$40.83 $61.24

PTO and Personal Time accruals are prorated by FTE/hours worked. Nonbenefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
