Nursery Practitioner Level 2 or 3

Salary:.

40 hours per week

We are seeking a nurturing and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our clients growing Nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a safe and enriching environment for young children to learn and grow. This role is for 40 hours a week with a salary of.

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. CACHE NVQ).
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Paediatric First Aid Safeguarding and Food Hygiene certifications (preferred but not required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver ageappropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our Child Led Curriculum
  • Observe assess and record each childs progress and development.
  • Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the nursery.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers providing updates on their childs development and wellbeing.
  • Attend staff meetings training sessions and other development opportunities.
  • Keep accurate records of childrens development and progress.
  • Support with administrative tasks such as accident forms attendance records and planning documentation.
