Donor Relations Manager

Apply: you a strategic communicator with a passion for building meaningful relationships The Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS) is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to help implement our Boardapproved donor relations strategy. Working within the Office of Communications & Development you will lead efforts to engage our global donor community through impactful communications coordinated activities and strong recordkeepingensuring alignment with the IIS mission and strategic goals.
What you will do:
- Lead donor communications such as newsletters letters from the Director and advance sharing of IIS publications.
- Plan and manage donor events including webinars virtual tours and inperson gatherings.
- Maintain the donor database (SalesForce) with accurate records and engagement history.
- Work with Conveners and National Councils to support coordinated donor engagement efforts.
- Track strategy progress and prepare reports offering insights and recommendations to enhance donor relations.
What you bring:
- A degree in communications marketing or a related field (postgrad a plus)
- Solid experience in donor relations and confidence with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Clear communicator strong multitasker and relationship builder
- Familiarity with the structures of the global Ismaili community; Islamic studies knowledge would be a bonus
- Strategic thinker with an eye for detail and a commitment to inclusion
