Job Purpose: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job |
Perform a variety of food preparation and service duties including taking food and beverage orders preparing orders and serving prepared food and beverage items in an efficient manner. |
Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that does not represent at least 10% of the jobs time. Please include supervisory responsibilities. |
1. | Provide efficient food sales and service to guests. |
2. | Maintain stock and display food according to established standards. |
3. | Maintain cleanliness in work areas and outlet areas. Clean equipment dishes and silverware as needed. |
4. | Operate a cash register and accurately handle monetary transactions. |
5. | Handle a daily cash bank and follow cash handling procedures. |
6. | Demonstrates product knowledge and execution. |
7. | Perform opening and closing duties as required. |
8. | Perform other duties as assigned. |
Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities. |
Education | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
Experience | Minimum six months of cash handling and food service experience preferred. |
Licenses/Certifications | Food Handlers Card and Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) card may be required. |

The starting pay for this position is $21.00 per hour the 6 month pay for this position is $23.00 per hour and the one year pay for this position is $28.00 per hour. The position offers health care benefits earned paid time off and/or sick leave life insurance disability coverage and other life and work wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility waiting period contribution and other requirements and conditions.
