Our client is a certified womanowned small business established in 2015 in Columbia MD. They specialize in cyber security operations and engineering software development data science and analytic development security engineering risk management and cloud migration. The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join a fastpaced development team. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge in Linux systems administration and a background in Big Data solutions configuration management automation scripting containers and AWS. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure automating deployment processes and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services. Work is performed in a hybrid environment (on average 12 days a week) with a great team. Salary ranges for qualified candidates are in the $120k to $198k range with a full benefits package.

What Youll Bring
5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience).
Strong working knowledge in Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
Proficient in configuration management tools such as Terraform Ansible or Puppet.
Experience with automation and scripting (Python Bash Go).
Experience with containers (Kubernetes preferred).
Knowledge of AWS services.
Experience with application and OS deployment scaling and management.
Familiarity with Git and other development tools.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites.
A background in Big Data solutions (preferred).

Clearance Requirements
U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI is required. Please note you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or undercleared applicants will not receive a response).

Location
Hybrid schedule in Columbia MD (12 days per week onsite) with ability to flex if needed.
