Job Description

Endeavor Charter School is hiring a compassionate and collaborative Middle School Guidance Counselor to support our students during a pivotal time in their Youll Do:Teach SEL content in small groups large classes and a rotating elective courseProvide oneonone and group counseling using developmentally appropriate strategiesSupport students emotional and behavioral needs as part of MTSS 504 or Exceptional Childrens processesCoordinate special events through the School Culture Committee focused on mental health inclusion and student wellnessGuide students and families through the high school transition process including registration and informational sessionsDevelop and manage a robust developmental guidance programServe as a resource for staff through ongoing professional development and collaborationCommunicate clearly and empathetically with students staff and familiesLead monthly family workshops in partnership with school administrationContribute to daily school life through occasional carpool dutyFoster a supportive school culture rooted in respect and cultural responsivenessModel professional excellence in alignment with NCDPI and ASCA standards
