In this role you will:
Together with the Site Training Lead the successful candidate will improve the site training plan and systems to drive effectiveness efficiency and compliance.
This position will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Format and process training materials & curricula including origination in change management system (QTS) for all Pfizer Engineering colleagues and contractors (currently 250 colleagues and 1500 contractors) including change control. Ensure consistent approach to training across Engineering including curricula content structure assignment revisions and accuracy. Partner with SMEs and Area management to develop deliver evaluate or revise unit training materials & curricula.
Manage the Engineering area Standard Operating Procedures for compliance.
Manage/support the Maintenance Technician apprentice program. Support site training initiatives drive implementation in the Engineering areas.
Serve as Training Leadership Team representative for Engineering.
Support regulatory and customer audits in the topics of Engineering training and compliance.
Forecast and budget tracking of the training and travel of the Engineering department for training.
Fulfill Training Coordinator Role including communications of pending or overdue training assignments curricula enrollments mentor contractors and colleagues to maintain training completion compliance documenting training compliance in Kalamazoos training quality system.
Select and train unit Job Task Trainers (JTT) and Training Record Administrators (TRA).
Partner with Site Training Lead to ensure compliance of Contractor training for the site.
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a masters degree with 0 years of experience;
OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school
diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated trainer skills; development delivery and facilitation of training material.
Familiarity with site Learning Management System and processes
Proven ability to lead and work in crossfunctional teams
Excellent leadership skills
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
Relevant pharmaceutical experience
Deep understanding of site operations
Experience with regulatory agency requirements and audits
Ability to develop and implement technical and operational standards
Experience in managing change controls and conducting investigations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to mentor and review the work of other colleagues
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting Standing and Walking for Training Team Meetings and Office work.
