Job Description
MSIL Staffing & Packaging and its local client are NOW HIRING 1st shift Logistics Receiver in the Indianapolis Indiana area!
Position: Logistics Receiver
Shift: 1st Shift 8:00AM 5:00PM Monday to Friday
Pay: $18.00
Location: Zionsville Road and 96th Street/ North West Indy
Summary:
To receive and process all inbound shipments into the facility. Verify counts and contents of packages. Properly stage store sort and inventory items as they are received.
Responsibilities:
Inspect inbound shipments for damage
Verify contents of each inbound shipment
Ensure items are stored and inventoried for future use
Use warehouse management system (NetSuite) to accurately record and receive inventory
Use email communication to update team members of the updated stock levels
Use the provided digital resources and knowledge bases to assist in daytoday tasks
Meet the expectations of the assignment which is heavily based on accuracy
Arrive on time
Follow the safety and security policies set within the department
Work Environment:
Seated
Standing
Temperature controlled warehouse
At computer station for majority of shift
Essential physical requirements such as standing stooping or typing. Physical effort such as lifting up to 10 to 20 pounds intermittently through shift
Competencies:
Tech savvy
Comfortable with computers technology and mobile devices
Comfortable with Microsoft office
