Weare seeking a highly motivated Automation Controls Engineer to join our dynamicteam. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing andmaintaining automation systems with a focus on Rockwell automationprogramming. AutomationControls Engineer Responsibilities:
Design program and troubleshootPLCbased control systems using Rockwell Automation software (AllenBradley) includingRS Logix Studio Logix and Connected Components Workbench
Perform Factory AcceptanceTesting (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) in accordance with companystandards
Collaborate with project teams todevelop control system architectures and specifications
Develop and maintain electricalschematics wiring diagrams and panel layouts
Assist in SCADA (SupervisoryControl and Data Acquisition) system design and configuration as needed includingFactoryTalk Ignition and ICONICS platforms
Provide technical support toclients and resolve any issues related to automation systems
Participate in onsitecommissioning startup and training activities
Stay updated on industry trendsemerging technologies and best practices in automation and control systems
Perform troubleshooting ofcontrols systems network systems SCADA systems and other site specificproblems
Willingness to train lessexperienced engineers
Requirementsfor the Automation Controls Engineer:
Bachelors degree in ElectricalEngineering Computer Engineering or related field or 4 years industryexperience
Solid understanding of PLCprogramming concepts and experience with Rockwell Automation software (RSLogixStudio 5000 CCW)
Familiarity with FactoryAcceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures
Some experience in SCADA and HMIdesign and configuration is preferred
Strong problemsolving skills andability to troubleshoot complex automation systems
Possess familiarity and abilityto troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
Willingness to travel to clientsites as needed (up to 60% travel locally with occasional overnight stays)
Ability to work independently andas part of a team
