Department
You will be part of the procurement support team in Service business line.
Role
We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our Global Expediting team as an Expediting specialist. They will be responsible to follow up with supplier delivery in accordance with the PO / Contract to enable that FLSmidth can keep the delivery to end clients as agreed.
Your responsibilities
Purchase parts/items of expertise area at the right quality & volume.
Select supplier according to PSP
Review bid evaluation and negotiation
Review / release of purchase order and ensure the receipt of order acknowledgment
Cost tracking & savings
Work with category for new supplier development
Optimize inventory levels based on customer demand and forecast
Work closely with vendors for critical/shutdown deliveries and realize the purchase orders are delivered on time
Analyze manufacturing schedule / progress report from suppliers and monitor progress and maintain expediting report on weekly / biweekly basis
Coordinate with quality team for inspection test plan
Interfacing with internal stake holder & vendor for various documentations like Inspection report Packing list and shipment documents
Ensure Supply in Full OnTime (SIFOT)
Maintain and provide feedback on supplier performance to Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM)
Ensure of supplier payment by collaborating with finance
What you bring
Understanding of technical specification & drawings in purchase orders.
Knowledge of data integration and understanding of ERP.
Technocommercial knowledge.
Bought out equipment knowledge would be an added advantage.
Education Qualification
Bachelors Engineering degree from a reputed University specializing in Mechanical will be preferred.
Experience
5 8 years experience in a Procurement
