Systems Administrator
About the role:
We are looking for a System Administrator which is a key role that will support our Digital Data and Technology service of the Council and will contribute to our ambitious Digital Transformation journey linked to centralising application support functions.
Working closely with the Highways and Infrastructure Service in the Neighbourhoods directorate the role will assist in achieving our statutory duty as local highway authority to maintain all highways which are under its control are adhered to and to ensure best user practice. You will support teams delivering a range of services to ensure efficient and effective business operations. This includes the development and testing of software devices and procedures for preparedness response and reporting as well as supporting the improvement and configuration of systems to deliver highly effective highway asset management and financial information.
About the candidate:
We would like to hear from you if you have experience of working in a similar role ideally in a Highways or Digital environment. You will be an enthusiastic motivated and committed individual who is able to demonstrate a working knowledge of this area whilst also possessing excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to our Council Values.
