OUR TEAM
Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage distribution maintenance and disposal of these systems all across Australia. As a turnkey solution we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations creating huge opportunities for growth.
Within our logistics services business there are 17 depots throughout Australia allowing various development and progression opportunities.
YOUR ROLE
Youll play a key role in managing the storage distribution and maintenance of explosive ordnance supporting the ADFs operational readiness across Australia.
This is a handson leadership role working closely with the Site Manager and regional leadership to ensure depot efficiency compliance and safety.
Located in sunny Townsville on Bindal and Wulgurukaba land your role purpose will be
Supervise and coordinate storage distribution and maintenance teams to achieve KPIs
Coordinate resupply backload and movement of EO stock in consultation with management
Maintain compliance with explosive limits security and regulatory requirements
Lead and participate in stocktake reconciliations discrepancy investigations and emergency control activities
Support staff training development and performance management
Ensure depot operations adhere to Thales safety environmental and quality standards
Liaise with customers contractors and internal stakeholders to maintain high service levels
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Certificate IV in Frontline Management (or ability to obtain)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated team leadership experience in logistics warehousing or a related environment
Experience within the defence environment would be highly advantageous
