About the Role

We are seeking two Senior Lecturers to join our Law discipline:

  • One ongoing role
  • One fixedterm contract to February 2029

As a Senior Lecturer you will play a key role in shaping the student experience advancing impactful research and fostering meaningful connections with industry and community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead or collaborate on highquality research aligned with the Universitys strategic priorities securing external funding and publishing in highquality refereed journals.
  • Design and deliver innovative undergraduate and postgraduate courses with a focus on practicebased learning and technologyenhanced delivery.
  • Foster strong connections with industry government and professional networks to enhance research impact and student outcomes.
  • Supervise honours and higher degree research (HDR) students and contribute to a supportive research environment.
  • Provide academic leadership through curriculum development and academic governance.

These roles are based at the Universitys NUspace building in Newcastles CBD (on Awabakal and Worimi land) with opportunities to teach online and at other campuses on occasion.
