Business Development Manager Managed Services

Location: Preference to candidates in Sydney or Melbourne

Salary: Negotiable

Hybrid work situation / Permanent role

About the Role:

The Business Development Manager for Managed Services at Wild Tech will be responsible for driving the growth of the companys Microsoft Managed Services offerings. This includes identifying and securing new business opportunities managing client relationships and developing strategic gotomarket initiatives to expand Wild Techs footprint in managed services. The role requires deep expertise in Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365 Azure Dynamics 365 etc.) The candidate should possess strong sales acumen and the ability to position Wild Tech as a trusted managed services provider.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Strategy

Work with the GM to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in Managed Services.

Identify and target new business opportunities through networking industry events referrals and proactive prospecting.

Meet or exceed sales targets by converting leads into clients and generating revenue from current clients.

Identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling other Wild Tech services.

Establish relationships with key stakeholders including IT decisionmakers CIOs and procurement teams.

Collaborate with the marketing and internal sales teams to design and execute lead generation campaigns.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for managed services prospects and clients ensuring that client concerns and requirements are addressed promptly.

Develop tailored proposals and presentations showcasing Wild Techs managed service capabilities.

Work closely with technical teams to ensure service offerings align with client needs and industry best practices.

Build and maintain longterm partnerships with clients by understanding their needs business objectives ensuring high satisfaction and contract renewals.

Identify and mitigate any issues that may impact client retention and work proactively to resolve potential concerns.

GoToMarket Execution

Lead gotomarket (GTM) initiatives for Microsoft Managed Services positioning Wild Tech as a market leader working closely with the marketing team.

Collaborate with Microsoft and other strategic partners to leverage coselling opportunities.

Stay updated on Microsoft licensing support models and product developments to position offerings effectively.

Provide input into pricing strategies ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track sales performance and client satisfaction against key targets and adjust strategies accordingly.

Maintain accurate and uptodate records in CRM systems documenting sales activities and pipeline status.

Prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior leadership highlighting trends client status sales pipelines challenges and opportunities.

Conduct win/loss analysis and refine sales approaches based on market feedback for continuous improvement.

Contract Negotiation and Renewal

Negotiate contract terms with clients ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Manage contract renewals and ensure that existing contracts are renegotiated in a timely manner to continue the business relationship.

Oversee pricing strategies and ensure that they align with the clients expectations and the companys financial objectives with GM approval.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

Collaborate with BDR sales marketing delivery and operations teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to help improve services products and processes.

Work closely with delivery teams to ensure the timely and quality execution of client requirements.

Requirements:

Preferred Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.

5 years of experience in operations marketing or business administration.

Experience working in a B2B environment with gotomarket strategy exposure.

Prior experience in IT professional services or technology industry preferred.

Knowledge of HR processes and administrative functions.

Proven track record in selling Managed IT Services particularly Microsoftbased solutions.

Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.

Strong B2B and enterprise sales experience.

Understanding of Microsoft licensing managed support models and cloud adoption frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to work in fastpaced highgrowth technology environments.
