The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for a reliable Facilities Technologist to help maintain our 17building complex and support over 900 employees. The facilities team often works closely with Engineers to support varied program needs. The selected candidate will gain work experience in a variety of trades including electrical plumbing HVAC woodworking painting and carpentry.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of directly related experience or related certification and 4 years of directly related experience or an associates degree and 3 years of directly related experience
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- Prior experience performing preventative maintenance operations in an R&D laboratory environment
- Ability to prioritize organize problem solve and meet deadlines
- Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task for all areas involved
- Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment
- Trade certification or license
- Working knowledge of BAS Controls
- Commercial HVAC experience
- Willingness to be on call after hours
- Working knowledge of trades
- Willingness to travel as needed

- Salary commensurate based on education and experience
