They specialize in cybersecurity operations and engineering software development data science and analytic development security engineering risk management and cloud migration. The Role
We are seeking a motivated Front End Software Engineer to join our clients team in Columbia MD. This role focuses on building intuitive applications that meet the needs of users with a strong emphasis on collaboration continuous improvement and writing maintainable code for a Big Data Platform (BDP). The Front End Software Engineer will assist with the creation enhancement and maintenance of web applications. US Citizenship and a current TS/SCI is required for consideration. The salary range for this role is $185K$270k with a full benefits package.
What Youll Do:
Assist with the creation enhancement and maintenance of web applications.
JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review.
Work closely with designers backend engineers and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
Help define and interact with REST based APIs.
Troubleshoot customerreported issues in applications and provide support.
Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
What Youll Bring:
BS 9 years of experience with front end software development/engineering (MS7 or 13 years w/o degree)
9 years of experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (i.e.: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency.
Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
Selfmotivation; Ability to multitask and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly.
Problemsolving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with BDP is a plus.
DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required as directed by the customer but are not required for initial consideration.
Clearance Requirements
A current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required.
Location
Hybrid schedule in Columbia MD (12 days per week onsite).
