Salary and Benefits
The salary range is $21999 $47660 per year depending on education and experience. The salary for this position is prorated based on the 0.5 FTE.
The salary is based on the24/25 SEA Certified Salary Schedule.

Springfield Public Schools is located in Springfield Oregon in the heart of the Willamette Valley and serves 185 square miles of the city of Springfield and East/Central Lane County. About the Position
Springfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for the full time position of CTE High School Business Teacher at Springfield High School.

Job Requirements:
- A valid State of Oregon teaching license with a Business endorsement;
- Excellent technology skills (Excel databases Word Power Point Google Suite);
- Strong understanding of the local economy/economics;
- Knowledge of the banking industry (stocks interest taxes profit/loss);
- Experience teaching digital applications advising DECA and managing student store/studentbased enterprises;
- Knowledge and experience with high schoolaged students with diverse learning needs;
- Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and their work;
- Motivated to establish effective working relationships with staff colleagues students parents and the community;
- Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS);
- Strong student management skills and the ability to establish a sound system of classroom management;
