About the Job
The Customer Service Representative receives and processes orders for our chemical products manages all customer communication and orders and acts as a liaison between the sales team and production plants. This position may require being oncall for evenings weekends and holidays based on a rotation schedule.
Responsibilities
- Receive and input all customer orders for plant locations and any related changes or cancellations
- Utilize ordertracking systems specific to the Chemical Industry
- Maintain uptodate customer information transaction data and pricing
- Communicate with production locations and customers
- Set up and review new accounts and update customer records as appropriate
- Adheres to ISO requirements as they relate to customer service.
- Participates in Quality System Training to maintain ISO compliance.
- Assists with projects as necessary.
You Must Have
- Proficiency in data entry
- Excellent computer skills highly proficient with Outlook and orderentry software.
- Exceptional organizational skills attention to detail and accuracy
- Good telephone manners to enhance relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to adapt to change and to function as a team player.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma associate degree preferred.
- Two to five years of office experience.
- Customer service call center or data entry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on the computer.
Compensation
