We have an exciting opportunity for a Director Governance and Engagement to join the Aboriginal Outcomes team within the Crown Lands and Public Spaces division. Aboriginal Outcomes provides an opportunity for you to expand your skills and leave a lasting impact on the Aboriginal communities of NSW so come and join a team which delivers real on the ground outcomes. With a team spread across NSW you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills.
The role:
As the Director Governance and Engagement youll lead the governance and engagement efforts that help embed Aboriginal perspectives into the core of decisionmaking and service delivery. By building strong partnerships and ensuring cultural protocols are respected youll drive initiatives that strengthen trust and support for Aboriginal communities across NSW.
A big part of the challenge will be balancing strategic leadership with community engagement in a way thats genuine and effective. Youll need to navigate complex stakeholder environments manage competing priorities and ensure governance structures are sound culturally safe consistent and impactful.
