POSITION SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER HYBRID

LOCATION HOUSTON TX

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. We are looking to grow our team of skilled multidiscipline engineers and engineering consultants throughout North America. This is a key location based position.

Role description:

As the Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager you will successfully manage lead and expand a practice as a seller/doer to execute design tasks and deliver construction documents for civil infrastructure/site development focusing on public and private client market sectors.

This role is to be based out of our Houston office and requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the office and the remainder of the week is working from home.

Role accountabilities:

• Develop and grow a global practice based in the region and supported by a local/regional/national client base. Ideally this person will be an engaged wellknown respected member of the local market with a strong existing client base
• Develop a team and identify leadership to execute public and private civil infrastructure and site development focusing on single and multifamily residential institutional and commercial development
• Manage projects profitably transition work to qualified staff grow and mentor staff and act as a positive leader and mentor
• Work directly with clients design staff and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals
• Oversees community and stakeholder communications regarding highprofile projects and participates as needed
• Presents executive reports to stakeholders and approves new projects in specific programs as required
• Assist with business development/client management and staff development to grow a regional civil practice
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer
• 15 years experience in the Civil/Site Development Infrastructure sector
• Experience managing and successfully delivering civil/site development infrastructure projects

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
