SUMMARY:

The GSOC Intelligence & Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing GSOC operations during their designated work hours. This manager will collaborate closely with the other GSOC Intelligence & Operations Managers to ensure continuity smooth transitions and collective success across the entire GSOC operation. This role will involve providing expert guidance on security incidents and internal policies while managing a team of GSOCIntelligence & Operations Analyst and Supervisors. The manager will ensure high service delivery standards operational excellence and proactive risk management. A key aspect of the role is balancing effective people leadership process optimization and crossfunctional collaboration. This manager will be instrumental in driving performance upholding compliance standards and maintaining consistent highquality service across global security operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide daily oversight and leadership for all GSOC activities ensuring alignment with the organizations security and business objectives.
  2. Lead mentor and develop a diverse team of GSOC Intelligence & Operations Analyst and Supervisors fostering a highperformance culture.
  3. Act as the first incident commander in response to global incidents taking the lead in coordinating and managing the response and ensuring proper escalation until resolution or handover to senior leadership.
  4. Review and analyze Daily Activity Reports Incident Reports Incident Notifications and Employee Advisories to monitor operational performance ensure timely and accurate communication and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Collaborate with senior security leadership on key initiatives investigations and longterm planning to enhance overall security operations.
  6. Interface with federal state and local law enforcement agencies as necessary for significant incidents and ensure proper escalation procedures are followed.
  7. Monitor compliance with relevant regulations contractual obligations and industry best practices to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
  8. Provide firstline support for GSOC technology platforms and collaborate with partner resources to ensure system reliability and performance.
  9. Conduct quality assurance checks and track operative performance monitoring random calls to improve quality minimize errors and enhance team effectiveness.
  10. Develop implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational training content to ensure operational excellence.
  11. Track report and optimize performance metrics KPIs and SLAs to meet internal and external expectations.
  12. Maintain relationships with global security clients and crossdepartmental stakeholders ensuring a strong understanding of business operations and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Demonstrated leadership experience in a GSOC or similar security operations environment.
  2. Deep understanding of security operations incident response and risk mitigation.
  3. Ability to manage teams across multiple shifts and locations in a fastpaced missioncritical environment.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience managing internal stakeholders.
  5. Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs training programs and performance metrics.
  6. Proficiency in using and supporting security technologies such as surveillance access control and incident management systems.
  7. Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable improvements.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. Maintain a prominent level of confidentiality towards all security related matters.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in security management Emergency Management Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CPP PSP CEM).
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Incident and Crisis Management
    • GSOC Analyst or Intelligence Programs
    • Travel Risk Management
    • Data Center Security Operations
  • Familiarity with privacy and regulatory standards impacting security operations.

MINIMUM HIRINGSTANDARDS:

  • Must have the legal right to work in the USA.
  • Must have the ability to speak read and write English.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Companys preemployment screening process including drug screening and background investigation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of management experience in SOC operations or comparable experience in security management.
  • Strong operational knowledge of technical security systems such as Security Access Control Systems Video Surveillance Systems Alarm Monitoring Systems and Threat Management Software.
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft office products.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATION:

  • California Security Guard license.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Training Certification preferred.

  2. Operational Excellence Strong understanding of security operations processes and best practices with the ability to optimize workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Incident Management and Response Expertise in managing and responding to security incidents including acting as the first incident commander and coordinating resources effectively.
  4. Risk Management Ability to assess and mitigate security risks develop action plans and protect personnel assets and data.
  5. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting briefing senior leadership and interacting with law enforcement and external partners.
  6. Collaboration and CrossFunctional Coordination Strong ability to work with other shift managers senior leadership and crossdepartmental teams to ensure seamless operations.
  7. Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate complex security challenges and develop practical effective solutions in highpressure situations.
  8. Technology Proficiency Familiarity with security technology platforms and systems with the ability to provide firstline support and collaborate with IT teams.
  9. Compliance and Regulatory Awareness Knowledge of security regulations privacy standards and industry best practices to ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  10. Adaptability and Flexibility Ability to manage change adapt to evolving threats and work in a fastpaced dynamic environment while handling multiple priorities.
