The Role
As a Senior Audit Associate you will work in a challenging and rewarding position. You will be expected to manage clients in a variety of industries such as nonprofit construction small business manufacturing medical real estate retail hospitality education and more. The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing audits of companies. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills be teamoriented be comfortable with direct client interaction and will regularly seek opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Helping to effectively plan and execute assurance engagements
- Guiding lessexperienced associates on client engagements
- Organizing and monitoring client projects and tasks
- Managing daytoday client relationships
- Functioning as the communication channel between associates clients and management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 2 years of experience carrying out audit methodologies & techniques within public accounting
- Indepth foundational knowledge of US GAAP guidelines
- Experience in performing nonprofit audits
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent work ethic and a sense of humor are a must!
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- Uniform Guidance Yellow Book Single Audits or Constructionindustry experience
