SUMMARY:

The GSOC Intelligence & Operations Supervisor serves as a frontline leader within the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) responsible for supervising GSOC Intelligence & Operations Analysts and ensuring the effective execution of realtime monitoring incident response and situational awareness functions. Operating in a 24/7 missioncritical environment the Supervisor acts as a tactical coordinator for security operations during their shiftbalancing operational duties with personnel oversight quality control and communication with internal stakeholders. This role requires a high level of situational awareness sound decisionmaking under pressure and a commitment to maintaining high service delivery standards. The Supervisor ensures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supports the GSOC Intelligence & Operations Manager in achieving operational goals across global security operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Supervise daily GSOC operations during assigned shifts ensuring that all monitoring incident response and reporting activities are performed according to policy and standard operating procedures.
  2. Act as the first escalation point for GSOC personnel during incidents or critical events providing guidance and coordination in realtime.
  3. Conduct shift briefings task assignments and debriefs to ensure situational continuity and preparedness across shifts.
  4. Oversee and validate the accuracy and completeness of incident reports advisories and logs submitted by Intelligence & Operations Analysts.
  5. Provide coaching mentorship and performance feedback to Intelligence & Operations Analysts fostering skill development and ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  6. Collaborate with the GSOC Intelligence & Operations Manager on incident investigations trend analysis and afteraction reviews.
  7. Maintain realtime visibility on global events that may impact LinkedIns personnel assets or operations and ensure timely dissemination of situational updates to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Coordinate response activities with onsite security personnel first responders or law enforcement when required.
  9. Support GSOC system functionality by reporting and tracking technical issues escalating as appropriate and conducting basic troubleshooting or liaison with support teams.
  10. Participate in the development review and training of SOPs and GSOC guidelines to enhance operational effectiveness.
  11. Track shiftspecific metrics intake volumes and incident data to support operational reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
  12. Ensure proper shift handovers with detailed briefings ensuring continuity of knowledge and seamless operational transitions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 35 years of experience in a GSOC security operations center or similar security environment.
  2. Prior leadership experience (formal or informal) such as supervising teams or managing shift operations.
  3. Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to incidents assess risk and coordinate operational responses.
  4. Strong communication skillsboth written and verbalwith the ability to convey information to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  5. Proficiency in using security systems and platforms (e.g. Lenel Milestone Dataminr Ontic Onsolve).
  6. High level of organization attention to detail and ability to multitask in highpressure environments.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Associate or bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Emergency Management Homeland Security or related fieldor equivalent relevant experience.
  2. Experience managing mentoring or training team members.
  3. Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms crisis communication tools and emergency management procedures.
  4. Knowledge of international threat environments and geopolitical risk analysis.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

  • Must have the legal right to work in the USA.
  • Must have the ability to speak read and write English.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Companys preemployment screening process including drug screening and background investigation.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATION:

  • California Security Guard license.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Training Certification preferred.

  7. Skilled in using GSOC platforms and able to identify or escalate technical problems efficiently.
  8. Seeks out ways to enhance GSOC operations through feedback training and SOP development.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. This is an onsite role based in a secure facility; remote work is not permitted.
  2. This is a shiftbased position with a permanent schedule that may include weekends holidays and mandatory overtime.
  3. Prolonged periods of monitoring and deskbased work are necessary.
  4. The environment is fastpaced and highstakes demanding continuous situational awareness.
  5. The ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies or highimpact events is essential.
  6. Regular participation in training and drills is required to ensure ongoing operational readiness.
