Job Description

Driver Hiring Event May 20th and 21st!

Join us for an exciting career fair with Alto! Meet face to face with members of our team and learn about what it means to be a driver with us. We are hiring for AM and PM shifts full time and part time hours weekday and weekend availability.

What to Expect:

Meet the team
Learn about what it means to drive for Alto
Have all of your questions answered
Perform a quick driver assessment (parallel parking and pulling in/backing out of a parking spot)
Receive a job offer!
Should take about 90 minutes of your time

Our goal is to offer YOU a job onsite so please bring with you:

State issued Drivers License

We provide you with a newmodel luxury SUV for every shift and handle all fuel maintenance and insurance costs so you can focus on driving! Plus our topoftheline invehicle technology keeps you safe behind the wheel.
Day in the life:
- Come to the Alto Operations center at the start of your shift to see the team and pick up your SUV for the day
- Hit the road and complete trips on the Uber platform
- Return your vehicle at the end of the shift our onsite team handles fueling cleaning and maintenance!
- Earn an hourly wage with additional peakdemand earning opportunities and keep 100% of the tips you earn while driving.
Pay:
- Hourly pay starts at $13.00 with raises starting in as little as one month. We also offer weekly performance bonuses. Plus keep 100% of your tips!
- Earn pay raises with tenure
- Get paid on your terms: receive weekly pay through direct deposit or choose OnDemand Pay to get paid as often as daily.
Schedule:
- Shifts: 8 hours long
- FullTime and Part Time Opportunities available

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be eligible to drive on the Uber platform:
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Valid US State issued Drivers License with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience in the United States
- Must pass a preemployment background check and saliva drug screen.
- A clean driving record: No more than 2 moving violations/atfault accidents in the last 3 years.
- No drivers license suspensions within the past 3 years.
- No existing suspensions from the Uber platform
- Successful completion of the Alto Driver Training Program is required
- Fluent in English.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to communicate verbally and follow directions from our dispatch team.
- Comfortable with navigational apps (e.g. Uber driver app Google Maps Emails Web Browsing).
- Capable of entering and exiting the vehicle consistently to assist customers with their luggage.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods.
