Join us at Plympton Academy as a Teacher of Humanities where youll be part of a collaborative forwardthinking team committed to delivering an engaging and ambitious Humanities curriculum.

Were looking for an enthusiastic and highquality teacher to teach across Humanities subjects and inspire students of all abilities. For those with leadership aspirations there is the exciting opportunity to take on a Head of Year role.

What youll do:
  • Teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 to 5 (History preferred).

  • Plan and deliver creative inclusive and inspiring lessons in both physical and digital classrooms.

  • Support and challenge students of all backgrounds to achieve their full potential.

  • Play an active role in shaping the future of the Humanities department.

  • Optionally lead a year group as Head of Year supporting students academic and personal development.

What were looking for:

  • A qualified teacher of a Humanities discipline.

  • A positive proactive educator with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • A strong classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
