Summer School Teacher

BASIS Chandler Primary is seeking passionate and qualified Summer School Teachers for our 8week summer program!

This position will start May 27 2025 and end July 18 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners in a dynamic coteaching environment. Our Summer School Teachers (Learning Expert Teachers or LETs) work closely with Subject Expert Teachers (SETs) to deliver a worldclass education and help each student reach their full potential.

What Youll Do:

• Lead one cohort of students through daily classroom transitions and routines.
• Collaborate with Subject Expert Teachers (SETs) who are responsible for core content instruction.
• Focus on individualized and small group instruction tailored to student needs.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and student achievement.
• Maintain classroom behavior standards to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
• Celebrate hard work and academic growth in a joyful studentcentered environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Demonstrated passion for student achievement and the ability to support individual academic progress

Preferred:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Education or related field
• Experience teaching elementaryage students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Openness to innovative teaching strategies and methods
