Job Description
The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida is seeking a fulltime Abdominal Transplant Surgeon to join our nationally recognized Department of Transplanta leader in innovative multidisciplinary transplant care.
Position Highlights
- Perform liver kidney and pancreas transplants as well as living donor nephrectomies and deceased donor procurement
- Practice within a dedicated Department of Transplantation
- Collaborate in a multispecialty teambased model providing comprehensive care from evaluation through lifelong followup
- Access to cuttingedge research advanced technologies and robust educational programs across Mayo Clinics three sites: Florida Rochester (MN) and Arizona
Candidate Qualifications
- Boardcertified in General Surgery
- Completion (or anticipated completion in 2025 or 2026) of an ASTSapproved abdominal transplant fellowship
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice with strong interests in research and medical education
- Eligible for Florida state medical licensure
