We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager supporting the Large Engine Systems Division (LPSD). In this role you will provide critical support for the Griffin GA facility providing cost management leadership analysis & forecasting OIA tracking inventory analysis capital management and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Managing team of 2 onsite accountants and maintaining relationships with the Griffin Facility leadership
- Providing partnership and financial oversight for PSLD Griffin Warehouse
- Promoting our Safety Driven Strategy across all areas of the facility
- Participating in the development and support of business strategies for the Griffin facility as part of the Griffin senior leadership team
- Preparing or leading preparation of reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income expenses and earnings based on past present and expected operations
- Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staff and providing for their professional development; analyzing and solving accounting problems
- Leading and ensuring a strong compliance culture
What You Will Have:
- Education: Bachelors Degree
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the companys business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Planning: Tactical Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term) tactical (12 years) and strategic (35 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting embracing and achieving objectives.
- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Additional Info:
- This position will be located in our Griffin GA office
- This role is a full time position and currently requires 5 days a week in office

Summary Pay Range:
