This Social Worker 4position is for a vacancy located in our Residential Inpatient Facility in Mandeville Louisiana. Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information for this position.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus:
A masters degree in social work followed by three years of social services experience.
FUNCTION OF WORK:
To serve as a licensed Clinical Social Worker and to provide independent assessment implementation as case manager of treatment plans and independent counseling with a minimum of supervision with a concentration on clients or offenders with specialized/atypical cases.
LEVEL OF WORK:
Advanced
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Broad review from a higherlevel social worker facility manager or administrator.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
May provide functional supervision over lowerlevel social workers and professionals in other disciplines.
JOB DISTINCTIONS:
Differs from the Social Worker 3 by the presence of licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Differs from the Social Worker 5A by the absence of responsibility of serving as sole social worker of a facility having full managerial responsibility over a facilitys social services program.
Differs from the Social Worker 5B by the absence of direct supervisory responsibilities.
This clinician position provides clinical assessment and treatment of clients admitted to the inpatient residential substance use treatment facility. The clinician may evaluate anddeterminesappropriatenessof referrals/admissions when a bed becomes available. The clinician completes comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments treatment plans screenings treatment/counseling via individual/family/group therapies as well as discharge plans for patients and families as needed.The clinician also works on an interdisciplinary treatment team in order to provide thorough and comprehensive care making recommendations for treatment plans and assisting in formulatingtherapeutic activities. Additionally the clinician attendsannual and PRNtrainingsand webinars to improve competency in assessment diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders.
